Chetham Architecture Design was established by Tim Chetham in 2004, after having worked for various architectural practices throughout England.

Professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture (RIBA Part I) from Plymouth University, a Bachelor of Architecture (RIBA Part II) from Hull School of Architecture, and an Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice (RIBA Part III) from the Royal Institute of British Architects NW (Chester).

Other qualifications include a CIOB Certificate in Site Surveying and a City & Guilds in Computer Aided Design. Academic research includes 'Oceanic Architecture' and 'Sustainable Satellite Settlements', whilst current interests include 'eco-architecture' and the conservation of historic buildings.

In addition to academic qualifications, over fifteen years of experience in architectural practice has provided a broad knowledge of the practical aspects of building design and project management. This breadth of experience means that Chetham Architecture Design is able to offer clients advice on all aspects of building construction and design.

Tim Chetham is a qualified architect and registered with the Architects Registration Board (Arb) - the title 'Architect' is protected by law in the UK. Tim Chetham is also a member of the Association of Consultant Architects (ACA) - the professional body which represents architects in private practice. In addition, Tim Chetham is a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) and Chetham Architecture Design is a Chartered CIAT Practice - the Chartered Insitute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) is the qualifying body for the discipline of architectural technology. Tim Chetham is also a member of The Association for Environment Conscious Building (AECB) - established to promote best practice in sustainable building design and construction.
